UGC TALKING ACTORS (STILL & MOTION PERSONA)

Here, you can create both UGC Still and UGC Motion Personas. UGC Still Personas allow you to generate content using static images, while UGC Motion Personas enable more dynamic videos with natural movements and expressions. These options give you flexibility to create engaging UGC-style content based on your creative needs.”

• Go to the Home page
• Click Apps

• Click and choose UGC Persona

• Select Start from Scratch

• Click Talking Actors

Step 1: Choose a Model

• Open the Model dropdown and select one of the following:
  • Synthesys Still Personas
    • Actors have minimal motion (still images with slight movement).
    • Videos can be up to 30 seconds long.
  • Synthesys Motion Personas
    • Actors have stronger, more dynamic motion.
    • Videos are up to 10 seconds long.

Step 2: Select an Actor

• Click the “Select actor” button to open the persona library.
• When you click Select  Actor, you’ll be taken to the Persona Library, where you can select or generate a persona based on your description. See https://help.synthesys.io/article/347-how-to-select-or-generate-actors

Step 3: Provide Audio

• You can either:
  • Upload your own audio file by clicking “Upload audio”, or
  • Type or paste your script (up to 500 characters (Still Persona)) into the text box.
• If you enter a script, select a voice from the “Select voice” dropdown for text-to-speech conversion.
• Click Generate Audio
• A play button will show for you to preview your audio

Step 4: Set Resolution and Lip Sync Model

• Choose the desired video aspect ratio (e.g., 16:9, 9:16) from the Resolution dropdown
• Select the preferred Lip sync model (default is “Base”) for audio-to-mouth movement matching.

Step 5: Generate Your Video

• Review your selections.
• Click the “Generate” button (cost shown next to it) to start creating your video.

• The Advanced Setting will appear which allows you to enter a name for your video and choose the desired resolution. You can also select the language, enable captions by checking the caption box, and customize the caption settings — including position and style — in this section.
• Click Generate

• Wait for processing to complete — your AI-generated talking actor video will be ready shortly.

Additional Tips:

• For longer videos, choose Still Personas for smoother generation.
• Upload clear audio for best lip-sync results.
• Use expressive scripts to make the actor’s performance more engaging.
