How to Select or Generate Actors

With Synthesys Apps, you can choose from a library of predefined actors or create and generate your own for your UGC and VSL videos.

👉  Select an Actor

This section allows you to choose from pre-made actors for your videos. You can filter actors based on gender, age, setting, and more, or generate a new actor tailored to your needs.

How to Select an Existing Actor

1. Click All actors from the left menu to view the full actor library.

2. (Optional) Use the Search bar to find an actor quickly.

   Apply filters on the left panel if needed:

   • Gender (Male / Female)
   • Age (Young Adult / Adult / Senior)
   • Order (HD, New Added, Exclusive for Business)
   • Situation (Office, Airport, Bedroom, Beauty, etc.)
3. Browse the actor thumbnails.
4. Click on an actor to select and use them in your project.

👉 Create or Generate a New Actor

Here, you can generate actors using a text prompt and reference images, or upload your own image to create a custom actor.

This screen lets you create a talking AI actor/avatar in two different ways:

1. GENERATE - Create a brand-new actor with AI

• From prompt and reference images.

2. UPLOAD - Turn an existing image into a talking actor

• From a photo you already have.

GENERATE (AI-Created Actor)

Use this if you want a fully AI-generated person.

Steps:

1. Click “GENERATE”

   You’ll be asked to:

   • Enter a text prompt (example:

     “Male influencer, mid-30s, confident, casual clothing, speaking to camera”)

   • (Optional) Upload reference images to guide the look
   • Select your resolution if it's for a 16:9 or 9:16 video type.

2. Click Generate
3. The system creates your AI actor
4. Preview → confirm → save

UPLOAD (Photo)

Use this if you already have a real person’s image.

Steps

1. Click “UPLOAD”

• Upload a clear photo (front-facing works best)

• Face is clearly visible
• Mouth is open with visible teeth
• Use a mild or close up shopt
• No heavy blur
• Neutral expression preferred

• Accept Terms
• Click Upload Actor
• Your image becomes a talking actor
